Next week

Man this week has been crazy. Up a bunch in the beginning of the week only to give it all back by the end. And it wasn't like up 200 down 200. There was like a 600 point range in the dow. I bet ya more people got screwed then made anything. I happened to make out ok this week, only because I was expecting a retest of the lows. Like +1% or something.

And if you thought this week was bad.... Next week is option experation and theres alot of Economic news out there. I don't like predictions or the crazy's that make them but....... I'm guessing we close much higher next week. Of course I'm guessing and I never trade off that kinda crap but I could see it happening. (Now I'm a crazy)

It seems like right now is a good time to trust some of your fast moving indicators. They be working for me.

Crazy Market

Wow this volatilty is crazy. If you are on the right side of the trade it's awesome. If your on the wrong side you start throwing shit at your computer screen. It looks like it's here to stay for a while so learn to deal with. Smaller position sizes is the first thing that comes to mind. Take profits when you have them!

Desiderata

I came across this during a search the other day and thought it was something that everyone should read and live by.

Go placidly amid the noise and haste and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender, be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly;and listen to otheres, even the dull and ignorant they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others you may become vain and bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs; for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals; and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially, do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is as perennial as the grass. Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength and spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be, and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul. With all it's sham and drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy.
